Qualifications:

Active Oklahoma or Compact RN license required Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Med Surg RN Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Skilled in providing care for both adult and pediatric patients Strong critical thinking, communication, and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care across the patient spectrum, from adults to pediatric cases, in a fast-paced Med Surg environment Collaborate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes Monitor patient condition, administer prescribed medications, and perform treatments per physician directives Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care Accurately update records and track changes in condition, maintaining rigorous patient safety standards Remain adaptable, assisting with any combination of patient types given the unit needs
