The QA nurse is responsible for analyzing data integrity, auditing medical records, attention to detail, consistency of OASIS documentation and assessment processes. Successful candidate will enjoy educating skilled and non skilled staff to improve safety and quality of care.

Quality Assurance Registered Nurse Responsibilities:

Analyze OASIS documentation and clinical records. Determine the necessity of medical services in compliance with federal and state reimbursement policies. Work with clinical field staff and review clinical documentation for established quality standards. Analyze coding using relevant ICD10 codes for home health. Report to DON and Admin to ensure a proper utilization of services, provide case feedback, and assist with other clinical questions. Provide chart audit processes Working daily with medical records and billing department.

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years home health experience with knowledge of Oasis-E (required) Knowledge of Coding ( preferred) BSN (preferred) Pediatric experience is a plus Proven knowledge of Medicare State and Federal home health regulations and 485/plan of treatment. Ability to provide clinical leadership with multi-disciplinary teams. Excellent knowledge of computerized documentation and excel required . Valid Pennsylvania RN license.
