Role Overview:

The Cardiac Cath RN provides primary nursing support in a specialized cardiac catheterization setting, working closely with fellowship-trained interventional Cardiologists and Electrophysiologists.

Key Responsibilities:

Triage patient calls, obtain medical histories, assist with procedures, collect specimens, administer medications, monitor diagnostic equipment, educate patients, and support daily clinic operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from a Specialty Training Program; experience in Telemetry, ED, or ICU is preferred but not required. Ability to respond to on-call emergencies within 30 minutes, with a focus on acute heart attack care.

Additional Duties:

Maintaining sterile environments, preparing instruments, and supporting patient education on treatments and medications.
