JOB GOAL

To provide school health services to strengthen the educational process of children by assisting them to improve or adapt to their health status and to create a climate of health and well-being in the district schools.

Provide day to day clinical support for student/staff injuries
Manage IHCPs and Medical 504 plans for select students.
Manage/supervise children with a variety of health issues/diagnoses, including but not limited to : Various allergies, including life-threatening peanut/tree nut allergies, and diabetes.
Contribute to school safety and health and wellness initiatives, including proper hygiene and healthy behaviors.
Maintain comprehensive records and facilitate ongoing communication with families as needed.
Support school-wide screening assessments, such as vision and hearing.

RESPONSIBLE TO

Building Principal for day-to-day direction and supervision.
