Responsibilities Provide comprehensive Med Surg nursing care to adult patients, including assessments, medication administration, and wound care Monitor, document, and report patient status, vital signs, and response to treatments using EMR systems Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and hospital staff to coordinate and optimize patient care plans Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-discharge care, and health management Maintain infection control, safety, and quality standards in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements Respond to emergencies, perform appropriate interventions, and escalate changes in patient condition promptly Precept and support fellow travel and core staff, contributing to a collaborative and respectful unit culture Required Skills Medical-surgical nursing Patient assessment IV therapy and medication administration Wound care management Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation Telemetry monitoring Care planning and coordination Infection control practices Acute care hospital experience Patient and family education
