Emergency Department:

DAY SHIFT

(6A-6P)/NIGHT SHIFT (6p-6a) Scope/Impact Performs rapid, initial assessments of patients received in the Emergency Room. Implements appropriate life-saving interventions as provided for by the state nursing practice act and CCMC policies and procedures. Monitors patients' responses to resuscitative efforts. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Communicates with other team members and families of trauma patients. Serves as a patient advocate. License(s) / Certification(s) / Registration(s)

Required:

Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas. BLS, ACLS, must obtain TNCC within 6 months of employment.

Preferred:

PALS, ENPC, CEN

- preferred.

Education Required:

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. High school diploma or equivalent

Amount and Type of Experience Required:

One year experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital required. Must pass basic EKG test, (ICU and telemetry).

Preferred:

ICU and ER experience preferred.

$33.00 - $36.00 per hour
