Role:
As a Registered Nurse in our healthcare facility, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients across various medical settings. Your primary objective will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to promote patient health and recovery. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care management, including direct patient care and education. This role demands vigilance in monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and advocating for patient needs to optimize health outcomes. Minimum Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States. Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Proven experience in medical/surgical nursing or a related clinical setting. Strong knowledge of nursing care principles, patient safety, and infection control.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Advanced certifications such as Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) or Pediatric Nursing Certification. Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac care. Previous experience working with nurse practitioners in a collaborative care environment. Training or certification in wound care management.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of patient health status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care. Perform wound care management and monitor healing progress. Utilize telemetry equipment to monitor cardiac patients and respond promptly to changes. Advocate for patient rights and needs within the healthcare team and during care planning. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards. Support pediatric nursing care by addressing the unique needs of children and their families. Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
