Registered Nurse Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing residents, coordinating nursing care, administering medications, monitoring health status, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and facility policies. As our Registered Nurse, you'll build meaningful relations with residents and make a genuine difference in their care and quality of life every day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct monthly nursing assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor residents' health status and identify changes in condition.
Foster a compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered environment that supports dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Respond to changes in resident conditions and collaborate with the Nurse Director and interdisciplinary team to develop appropriate interventions.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment while promoting compliance with infection prevention and workplace safety standards.
Accurately document assessments, medications, treatments, care plans, and resident status in the medical record.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies
Rotation in on-call nursing after hours/holidays and weekends availability by phone required.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
Develop, review, and update individualized care plans.
Provide clinical guidance and support to care staff.
Ensure compliance with Vermont Residential Care Home regulations
Assist with staff education and competency training, as applicable.
Registered Nurse Qualifications/Skills:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the State of Vermont.
Experience in geriatrics, long-term care, assisted living, or residential care preferred.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
Strong organization and time-management skills.
Current CPR/BLS certification.

$37.00 - $38.00 per hour
