Responsibilities Assess patients in intensive care and medical-surgical settings and monitor changes in their condition. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical orders and safety protocols. Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records. Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment, and transitions of care. Respond to emergencies and support safe, high-quality patient care.
