VCA Avondale Veterinary Hospital is looking for a caring and dependable Patient Care Attendant to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with animals and wants to gain hands-on experience in a veterinary hospital.

Schedule :

Part-time opportunity. What You'll Do Provide compassionate care and attention to hospitalized and boarding pets Feed, walk, and monitor animals according to their individual care instructions Clean and maintain kennels, treatment areas, and other hospital spaces Assist the veterinary team with basic animal handling and patient care Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff Monitor patients and communicate any changes or concerns to the veterinary team Stock supplies and assist with general hospital duties as needed Provide excellent care and a positive experience for both pets and their owners What We're Looking For Previous experience working with animals is a plus, but not required A genuine passion for animal care and welfare Comfortable handling dogs and cats of various sizes and temperaments Reliable, dependable, and willing to be a team player Ability to work in a fast-paced veterinary environment Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to safely lift and carry animals and supplies as needed
