The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $18.00 - $23.25 Position Highlights You Belong at Avera Be part of a multidisciplinary team built with compassion and the goal of Moving Health Forward for you and our patients. Work where you matter. A Brief Overview Accountable for the direction and scheduling of physician referrals and/or procedures for the consumer. What you will do Schedules all out-of-clinic procedures and appointments including but not limited to, clinic diagnostics, hospital-based diagnostics, specialty physician clinic appointments, etc. Develops and researches insurance information and serves as a resource for preauthorization efficiencies, preauthorizing procedures, ensuring consent forms and waivers are signed as appropriate. Complete requests of medical records to the referring physician and order forms for procedures to be scheduled by the hospital. Communicates with patients to inform them of the date, time and location of appointments and procedures. Follow-up mailings may also be necessary to inform patients of testing protocol and requirements. Essential Qualifications The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds. Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
High School or GED Equivalent Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
