Ophthalmic surgery Center in Bergen county NJ looking for a Patient Admission Representative to greet and check in surgical patients We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth operations within our medical facility, providing essential administrative support while creating a welcoming environment for patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of medical terminology, as well as .
Hiring hours:
10:30am-end (Surgical Day) Monday-Frid ay Duties Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage patient check-in processes efficiently. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, faxing, and photocopying documents. Requirements Previous experience in a medical administrative support role is preferred. Proficiency in medical terminology to communicate effectively within the healthcare environment. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Nextgen or SIS (Surgical Information System) is a plus. Ability to operate phone systems and manage multiple calls simultaneously. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records. A compassionate demeanor with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
