Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking an additional highly organized and experienced Medical Office professional to join our team for this in-person position. The medical office professional will be part of a team responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our medical practice office. This role requires strong team coordination skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of all aspects of the medical office.
Duties:
  • Expertise in Electronic Medical Billing / Medicare electronic Billing and submission of all other insurance claims. Full knowledge and understanding of CPT codes.
  • Bookkeeping
  • Credentialing new providers in PECOS electronically as Medicare providers
  • Strong experience with Google Drive spreadsheets and ledgers
  • QuickBooks
  • Reconciliation of numbers and calculations.
  • experience with Practice Fusion and AdvancedMD.
  • Strong communication skills and public relations skills.
  • Proficiency with: Microsoft WORD & Google Drive spreadsheets.
  • Strong coordination abilities
  • Multitasking and Problem Solving.
  • Confidentiality skills and HIPAA compliance are essential.
Job Type:
37.5 hours per week
  • Able to handle all aspects of the medical office.
  • Bill payment, billing, and insurance claims processing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and facilities to optimize patient care and ensure smooth operations
  • Exercise practice outreach and provider recruitment
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations to ensure compliance
  • Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
