Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking an additional highly organized and experienced Medical Office professional to join our team for this in-person position. The medical office professional will be part of a team responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our medical practice office. This role requires strong team coordination skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of all aspects of the medical office.
Duties:
Expertise in Electronic Medical Billing / Medicare electronic Billing and submission of all other insurance claims. Full knowledge and understanding of CPT codes.
Bookkeeping
Credentialing new providers in PECOS electronically as Medicare providers
Strong experience with Google Drive spreadsheets and ledgers
QuickBooks
Reconciliation of numbers and calculations.
experience with Practice Fusion and AdvancedMD.
Strong communication skills and public relations skills.
Proficiency with: Microsoft WORD & Google Drive spreadsheets.
Strong coordination abilities
Multitasking and Problem Solving.
Confidentiality skills and HIPAA compliance are essential.
Job Type:
37.5 hours per week
Able to handle all aspects of the medical office.
Bill payment, billing, and insurance claims processing
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations
Coordinate with healthcare providers and facilities to optimize patient care and ensure smooth operations
Exercise practice outreach and provider recruitment
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations to ensure compliance
Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications:
Proven experience in similar role
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
