Job Description
Are you tired of the high-volume corporate therapy model? Servant Rehabilitation is a small, growing, patient-centered practice seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient senior-care setting in Conway. We believe therapists should have enough time to provide thoughtful care, build meaningful relationships, and treat each person—not simply move patients through a schedule. You will provide one-on-one treatment during 45- to 60-minute appointments with older adults living in an independent-living community. Our therapists become trusted members of the community, and patients truly know them as their therapists. Schedule Monday through Friday Approximately 35-40 hours per week No weekends Flexible scheduling In-person position in Conway, South Carolina What Makes This Position Different One-on-one patient care 45- to 60-minute appointments No patient double-booking Consistent Monday-Friday schedule No weekends Supportive small-company environment Opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients Emphasis on quality care instead of corporate productivity pressure Primarily older adults in an independent-living setting Responsibilities Provide skilled treatment under the direction and supervision of the physical therapist Carry out individualized plans of care established by the supervising PT Help patients improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination, endurance, and functional independence Provide personalized, evidence-based interventions Monitor each patient's response to treatment and communicate progress or changes to the supervising PT Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, fall prevention, and healthy movement Encourage and motivate patients as they work toward their functional goals Complete accurate and timely patient-care documentation Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals Support appropriate wellness and fall-prevention programming within the community Qualifications Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active South Carolina Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional, dependable, and compassionate Comfortable working with older adults with a variety of functional and medical needs Committed to continued learning and professional growth Able to work independently while communicating effectively with the supervising PT Compensation $28-$33 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
