Join our team at Comprehensive Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. We are looking for a Patient Service Representative to play a key role within our rapidly growing healthcare team. Our group has three collective groups of providers across many different orthopedic and sports medicine specialties. This role will require the ability to reliably work at our downtown Salt Lake location (82 S 110 E, Salt Lake City) in addition to our South Jordan location.

Full time position:

Monday-Thursday 7:45 am-5:00 pm; Friday 7:45 am-1:00 pm

Responsibilities:

Greeting Patients:

Welcome patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression, and to ensure future positive encounters.

Appointment Scheduling:

Manage patient appointment scheduling, and rescheduling efficiently, utilizing our electronic health record (EPIC) system.

Data Entry:

Accurately enter, and update patient information into the EHR. Also ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date.

Insurance Verification:

Verify insurance, eligibility and benefits, and assist patients with any insurance related questions/issues.

Patient Service:

Address patient inquiries, and concerns with empathy and professionalism, while providing clear and accurate information.

Administrative Tasks:

Perform various administrative duties, such as filing, faxing, handling phone calls, and various tasks deemed appropriate by management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education, or certification and healthcare administration preferred but not required. Previous experience in customer service. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent organization, skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
