Medical Office Receptionist I Position Purpose The Medical Office Receptionist I serves as the first point of contact for patients and referring providers and is essential in creating an exceptional patient experience. This position is responsible for patient registration, appointment support, medical records, payment collection, and general front office operations while learning First Choice Imaging's workflows and standards. The Receptionist I position is designed for employees who are developing competency in all front office responsibilities. Employees are expected to learn company policies, demonstrate professionalism, and progressively become proficient in independently performing the essential duties of the position. Primary Responsibilities Patient Experience
Welcome every patient in a professional, friendly, and compassionate manner.
Create a positive first impression of First Choice Imaging.
Protect patient confidentiality. Administrative Support
Process incoming physician orders.
Scan and index documents accurately.
Process incoming and outgoing faxes.
Maintain medical records.
Assist with referral documentation.
Support clinic workflow as assigned.
Financial Responsibilities
Collect patient payments.
Process credit card, cash, and check transactions.
Balance daily payment batches.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information. Scheduling Support
Assist Scheduling Department when requested.
Help coordinate same-day scheduling changes.

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
