Our Meijer FastCare Clinics are open 7 days/week. M-F hours are typically 8:00am
8:00pm; Sat 8am
6pm; Sun 8am
2pm.
The position does require 1 weekend, every 3 weeks and an occasional Holiday. Our McKinley FastCare are open 7 days/week.
M-F:
8am
6pm;
SAT & SUN
8am
Noon.
Requires every other weekend and occasional Holiday. Occasional travel to other FastCare clinics maybe required to staff during PTOs, LOAs.
Job Summary:
The Patient Access Service Representative (PASR) delivers an exceptional patient experience for "front of house"/patient facing needs. Proactively greets patients and visitors and creates a helpful, positive, welcoming and friendly patient experience. Provides outstanding customer service both in person and on the phone.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
A minimum of one year of experience as a receptionist/assistant or work in a customer service field is required. Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not necessary.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION
Effective communication skills, oral and written required. Ability to multi-task. Strong proactive organizational skills a must. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Knowledge of medical terminology and EpicCare is preferred.
