$22-$24 per Hour, Depending on Experience We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant/Paralegal to join our team in Lander, Wyoming. This is a full-time, in-office position working four 10-hour shifts each week, providing employees with three days off every week. The Medical Records Specialist plays an important role in supporting physicians and assisting clients throughout the claims and medical review process. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Request, obtain, organize, and review medical records from healthcare providers and facilities Communicate professionally with physicians, medical offices, hospitals, and other healthcare providers Provide timely updates to clients regarding the status of records and case progress Assist physicians by gathering and organizing relevant medical documentation Maintain accurate records and ensure information is properly routed to the appropriate parties Manage a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed Qualifications Associate degree required Previous clerical or administrative experience required Experience working in a medical office, clinic, healthcare setting, or with medical records preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer service and telephone skills Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally What We Offer Competitive hourly compensation Consistent full-time schedule Three days off each week Supportive team environment Opportunity to work closely with physicians and make a meaningful impact on client cases Paid time off Qualified candidates who are dependable, organized, and committed to excellence are encouraged to apply.
