The Encore at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center seeks a Weekend Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care to skilled nursing and rehab residents. In this role, you will deliver treatments, manage oxygen and ventilatory support, monitor respiratory status, and document interventions. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team in a resident-centered environment that values dignity, compassion, and respect while supporting clinical excellence and quality outcomes. Responsibilities Provide weekend respiratory care to residents including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and airway management per physician orders Assess, monitor, and document residents' respiratory status and treatment responses in the medical record Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory therapy equipment safely and accurately Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehab staff to develop and adjust individualized care plans Educate residents and families on respiratory conditions, medications, and equipment use Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory standards in all respiratory care procedures Respond to respiratory emergencies, including distress and code situations, using appropriate interventions Required Skills Respiratory assessment Ventilator management Oxygen therapy Nebulizer and aerosol treatments Airway management ABG interpretation Electronic medical records documentation Infection control practices Patient and family education Emergency response
