3424434-32250 Job Description Seeking an experienced professional with credentials as a Respiratory Therapist, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to provide exceptional care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract role offers night shifts with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, ensuring consistency and the opportunity to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Key Qualifications:
Active and current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) Demonstrated experience in acute care or hospital settings Strong understanding of respiratory therapy protocols and the ability to work independently Solid communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and care teams Ability to remain calm and efficient in fast-paced, high-acuity settings Required to submit relevant certifications for consideration
Schedule:
Night shifts Three 12-hour shifts per week
Primary Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and manage ventilator-dependent patients Accurately assess patient conditions and provide appropriate interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans Monitor and document patient responses to therapy, adjusting as necessary Maintain clinical equipment and ensure proper usage and safety protocols are followed Educate patients and their families on respiratory care practices and equipment use Those applying should submit their profiles with all relevant certifications attached, along with any required time off (RTO) needs clearly listed to assist with scheduling.
