Assists the Director in the organizing, planning, directing and coordinating of all activities relating to Respiratory Care Services including ensuring services are within the Hospital's mission, meeting regulatory compliance and ensuring quality, safe, cost effective and efficient patient care is provided. Clinical Coordinators oversee the department in the absence of the Director.

Job Summary Assists the Director in the organizing, planning, directing and coordinating of all activities relating to Respiratory Care Services including ensuring services are within the Hospital's mission, meeting regulatory compliance and ensuring quality, safe, cost effective and efficient patient care is provided. Clinical Coordinators oversee the department in the absence of the Director. Qualifications Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Required Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy, Business Administration or Leadership Preferred Work Experience 1 or more years leadership experience Required 1 or more years Respiratory Care practice experience. Required Licenses and Certifications RRT

• Registered Respiratory Therapist Required ACLS Required PALS
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required BCLS
• Basic Life Support Required Essential Functions Demonstrates ability to effectively resolve conflicts.

Provides or recommends care based on the patient's condition and needs. Identifies expected outcomes and plan based on diagnoses or issues. Treats patients and families with compassion and follows physician orders. Adapts communication style, listens and responds to patient needs. Recognizes age-specific responses to treatment. Provides effective interventions. Respects patients confidentiality, privacy and social, spiritual, and cultural needs. Modifies expected outcomes based on changes in the assessment of the patient. Employees must become competent at accurate and efficient documentation in an electronic system. Accurately documents all pertinent information regarding patient services rendered. Makes corrections to errors following proper time frame and process. Documents services rendered as soon after as possible. #LT123
