Key Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Current state licensure in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain) Minimum of one year recent experience in acute or critical care settings Experience with ventilator management, medication administration, and high-acuity patient care Excellent communication and documentation skills Dedication to patient-centered, empathetic care
Core Responsibilities:
Independently administer respiratory therapy procedures and treatments in critical care settings Evaluate and treat complex, multi-system patient cases utilizing best practices Manage protocol-driven ventilator therapy with significant autonomy Teach and support patients and their families, adapting education to unique needs Offer mentorship to new team members and contribute to ongoing staff development Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
