Job Description

Work Schedule:
Per Diem, Day or Night shift, you will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E. State St. Additional components of compensation may include: Evening, night, and weekend shift differential Overtime On-call pay At UW Health in northern Illinois, you will have:

  • Graduate of a Commission of Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) Accredited Program for Respiratory Therapy. Required Work Experience
  • 1 year At least one year experience working as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. Preferred Licenses & Certifications
  • Current Registration (RRT credential) from the National Board of Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Required
  • License from the State of Illinois as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (within 90 days of passing test for new grads). Required
  • Current CPR certification. Required
  • NRP certification. Preferred
  • PALS certification required within two years of hire date.
