Registered Respiratory Therapist II Inpatient (RRT)

Job Description

Job Overview As a Respiratory Care Practitioner at Deaconess, you'll play a vital role in helping patients breathe easier and recover stronger every day. You will provide essential respiratory care services based on physician orders for both inpatient and outpatient populations from tiny infants to older adults making a meaningful difference across every stage of life. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where your expertise directly supports lifesaving care and patient recovery. To welcome you to the team, we're offering a $7,500 sign-on bonus for full-time positions or $3,750 for part-time roles. This position will work 6am to 6:30pm, 36 hours per week. Rotating weekends and holidays. What You'll Do In this role, you'll be trusted to: Perform key diagnostic procedures and support critical respiratory assessments Deliver specialized respiratory therapies tailored to patient needs Administer respiratory medications and educate patients on proper equipment use and technique Respond to emergencies and perform CPR when every second counts Provide percussion and postural drainage therapies to support airway clearance Collaborate closely with physicians and care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care What You Bring We're looking for dedicated professionals who are ready to make an impact.
Required qualifications include:
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC Current state licensure in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications If assigned to the PICU, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required
