1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a Long Term Acute Care position, LTAC experience preferred. Details Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting Adult patient population with potential for pediatric patients Day shift schedule rotating between 3x12 hour and 4x12 hour shifts (7:00-19:30), totaling 84 hours per two-week pay period Every other weekend required Float required within scope of practice Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience required Active BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) RRT license required; CRT accepted License required if applicable LTAC experience preferred Additional Information Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates not accepted Up to 7 days of RTO considered, must be presented upfront with no changes accepted Must work either a major or minor holiday during the assignment Orientation occurs on a bi-weekly basis Two professional references required, including one from a Charge nurse or higher and one supervisor reference, both completed within the last year Travelers who have completed one year in the system must take a minimum 6-month break before being eligible to return Traveler pairs are accepted on a limited basis and will not be scheduled on the same shift or unit
