Night Shift Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist I demonstrates basic competency in foundational respiratory care procedures under supervision, and provides assessment, treatment, monitoring, and education to patients across care settings. Continues to develop clinical expertise and critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration while progressing within the respiratory care role. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Graduate from a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
License/Certifications:
Current applicable state(s) license in Respiratory Care required. Minimum of a CRT certification required, or a RRT certification is required. Must have an RRT certification to advance to a Respiratory Therapist II. Current BLS certification required, or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Current ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications as required by facility, or must obtain within one year of start date.
