Desired Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) BLS/CPR certification (required) Experience in acute care settings preferred Strong communication and critical thinking skills Adaptable, with a positive attitude toward learning new systems and protocols
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and provide respiratory care treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians Operate and maintain mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care Educate patients and families on respiratory health and at-home care practices Accurately document all aspects of patient care
