Role:

Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) responsible for assessing, planning, performing, and evaluating patient respiratory care to ensure optimal patient and family experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer routine therapies including aerosolized medications, oxygen, and secretion management. Manage mechanical ventilators and monitor patients using non-invasive tools like pulse oximeters and ETCO monitors. Provide patient and family education on disease management. Assist with emergency airway management and intra-hospital transport of ventilated patients. Support invasive procedures such as fiberoptic bronchoscopy and invasive line placements. Perform arterial blood gas sampling and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Take on leadership roles such as Shift Coordinator and serve as a preceptor for trainees.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from Specialty Training Program (required). Experience with protocol-driven care, evidence-based practices, and collaboration with critical care teams. Strong communication, assessment, and technical skills. Ability to function autonomously and adhere to safety standards.
