BSA Hospital is a 445-bed hospital serving the Amarillo area for over 120 years and continues to be Amarillo's preferred healthcare provider. Responsibilities The Respiratory Therapist RRT is responsible for performing all Respiratory Care procedures in the general and critical care settings.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
High School (or GED equivalent) diploma. Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy. Licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Current ACLS certification. (RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist verified through NBRC. Assignment to the ER or Pedi must have current PALS. Assignment to the NICU must have a current NRP.
