POSITION SUMMARY
To provide therapeutic modes of respiratory treatments to all patients. In addition to duties of a certified respiratory therapist, may perform advanced diagnostic testing, patient assessment, and intervention. Serves as a preceptor for other therapists. •5,000 SIGN-ON-BONUS•
QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of an associate degree from a respiratory therapy education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care unless licensure was obtained prior to November 11, 2009. One year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting Licensed as a RRT by the Texas Medical Board and registered by NBRC. BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS, and PALS Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting. NRP within 90 days of employment.
