This role focuses on providing advanced respiratory care services to patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders under the direction of a physician. As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in patient recovery and wellbeing, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and treatments in one of San Antonio's top hospitals. Responsibilities Evaluate patient's respiratory conditions through diagnostic testing and assessments. Consult with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan. Manage and operate various types of respiratory care equipment including ventilators and oxygen supplies. Educate patients and families on lung health and disease prevention. Respond to emergency resuscitation situations. Document patient care and outcomes accurately and within compliance standards. Maintain active communication with healthcare team to optimize patient care. Required Skills Proficiency with respiratory care modalities Experience in ventilatory support Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in high-stress conditions Strong attention to detail Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
