1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a night shift acute care position requiring 2+ years of critical care experience and mechanical ventilation skills. Details Acute care inpatient/ED setting Adult patient population Handles 5-6 ventilator treatments per day Uses

EPIC EMR

Equipment includes 840/980 ventilators, V60, and Vapotherm Night shift, 1800-0630 Every other weekend required Possible holiday requirement No call or standby requirement No floating required Never the sole RT in-house during a shift Requirements Active RRT certification preferred; CRT will be considered BLS and ACLS certification required Minimum 2 years of experience required Critical care and mechanical ventilation experience required Skilled in drawing and analyzing ABGs from arterial lines and punctures Able to assist with intubations License required if applicable Copy of driver's license required for consideration Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility Additional Information Work alongside a lead therapist on each shift who also carries a caseload Hospitalist or intensivist coverage available in-house Department-specific orientation provided No special scrub color or dress code required
