9595625-35976 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to K-12 students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position offers the chance to support children across three conveniently located school sites, all within a short distance of each other. Your role will blend your clinical expertise with your passion for helping young learners overcome challenges and achieve meaningful communication milestones. As part of a collaborative educational environment, youll work alongside dedicated educators and professionals who value student growth and development.
Qualifications:
Hold a current and active Alabama SLP license Certification as SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in school settings or pediatric populations preferrednot required Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to manage a caseload spanning grades K-12 Adaptability across multiple nearby school locations
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and implement therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and families Maintain accurate and timely records to track student progress and ensure compliance Provide both one-on-one and group therapy sessions as appropriate for each student Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations Communicate with faculty, staff, and caregivers to promote student success across all sites This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with 37.5 hours per week, and starts on August 12, 2026, concluding May 26, 2027.
