Key Qualifications:

Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Alabama ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements Manage a caseload size typical for the area and student population, ensuring quality service for each child
