Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting students' communication development and educational growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This position is perfect for both experienced clinicians with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) ready to begin their school-based careers. You'll collaborate with supportive educational staff near Seale, AL, creating a positive impact for students in a diverse school environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility for licensure) Open to SLPs holding CCC or those completing their Clinical Fellowship (CFY) Strong understanding of school-based therapy needs and IEP process Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Passion for helping students reach their fullest communicative potential
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports and recommendations Participate in meetings, staff development, and trainings as required Educate and counsel students, parents, and staff on communication disorders and relevant interventions Enjoy the flexibility and variety that come with a contract position, while making a remarkable difference in a supportive educational setting.
