8498555-85132 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, providing impactful services across two dynamic educational environments near Florence, AZ. This full-time position offers a well-rounded blend of experiences supporting both K-8 and early childhood students, with a schedule of 40 hours per week. Your expertise will be shared between two sites: spending two days per week with the K-8 population and three days weekly with the preschool group. At the K-8 school, your caseload will include approximately 68 students, including 15 individuals with medically fragile or MOID (Moderate Intellectual Disabilities) needs. Your presence will bring much-needed guidance, compassion, and communication support to these learners. At the Early Childhood Learning Center, the addition of your specialized skills will help balance the workloadreaching a manageable caseload of about 65 preschoolers.

Key Qualifications:

Hold a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience working with school-aged children and/or preschoolers, including students with significant needs Strong organizational skills to manage diverse caseloads across locations Collaborative mindset and effective communication with families, staff, and other professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver therapy services tailored to each students needs, both individually and in small groups Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings Provide support and guidance to families and staff regarding communication development This role offers a fulfilling chance to make a meaningful difference in a diverse community.
