Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting students' communication and language development in a school-based environment near Rillito, AZ. This rewarding opportunity is perfect for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist seeking part-time work with flexibility. Enjoy working 20 hours per week on a contract assignment, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of May 2027. There is the option to pair with another district for those interested in full-time hours.

Qualifications & Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Arizona SLP license required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome Experience or strong interest in school-based SLP services Excellent communication skills with students, staff, and families Strong organizational abilities and adaptability within dynamic school settings

Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes Deliver both direct and consultative services, adapting strategies to meet unique student needs Serve as a supportive, knowledgeable resource for school staff regarding speech-language challenges and interventions This role is designed for professionals who value impactful work, autonomy, and the chance to become an integral part of the support system for students.
