Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a dynamic school environment for the 2026/2027 academic year. This is a contract position based near Wellton, AZ, ideal for professionals passionate about making an impact on students' communication skills and overall success. While on-site support is preferred, there is openness to virtual/online services for the right candidate, allowing greater flexibility to match your expertise and availability.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current and valid SLP licensure for Arizona, or eligibility to obtain Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Ability to efficiently assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for communication disorders Strong organizational and communication skills Comfort using technology for documentation or, if remote, virtual service provision Commitment to approximately 30 hours per month during the school year
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students Deliver engaging speech and language therapy services one-on-one or in small groups Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor progress and adapt strategies Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all guidelines Participate in required meetings and professional development as needed Provide support and resources to educators and caregivers to foster generalization of skills
