Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students across beautiful El Dorado County for the 26/27 school year. This engaging role will serve multiple school sites, requiring adaptability and a passion for providing consistent speech-language services. With locations ranging from El Dorado Hills to Camino, you'll take on the rewarding challenge of making a difference where it's needed most. Ideal candidates thrive in itinerant positions, are comfortable traveling between locations, and are flexible with changing assignments throughout the semester. Whether you're an SLP-CCC or an emerging Clinical Fellow, there's room for growth and development. SLPAs are also encouraged to apply, with on-site supervision available to help you succeed.
What We're Looking For:
Current California SLP license (no additional district or licensing requirements). Experience with mild to moderate caseloads, with potential exposure to some more complex cases. Flexibility for variable caseload sizes and changing school placements. Prior work in school settings and familiarity with SEIS and California K-12 processes are highly valued. Willingness to travel between sites across the county. Open to SLPs at all career stages, including SLPAs and CFs (with on-site SLP supervision). Onsite work required; remote/virtual services are not an option.
Your Key Contributions:
Provide high-quality speech-language therapy and evaluations to a diverse student population. Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Maintain thorough, accurate documentation using SEIS. Adapt supports and interventions to meet students' unique needs in each setting.
