Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic opportunity supporting students with speech and language needs in a rewarding school-based environment near Buellton and Solvang, CA. This contract position is designed for passionate speech-language pathologists who thrive in pediatric and school settings and are committed to making a positive difference. Enjoy the flexibility of working on-site or via teletherapy, with a manageable schedule of 8 hours per day, one day per week. Your expertise will play a vital role from your start date through June 4, 2027, empowering students' growth throughout the academic cycle and beyond.
Key Qualifications:
Current or in-progress CTC permit required (documentation of permit or process will be needed and permit fees are the applicant's responsibility) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Experience in school-based, healthcare, or pediatric SLP settings Skills in teletherapy and flexibility to adapt to virtual platforms if needed Knowledge of best practices supporting students' diverse needs
Responsibilities:
Provide direct assessment and intervention for students with speech and language disorders Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to implement IEP goals Maintain accurate records and documentation according to school and state guidelines Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and support staff Participate in pre-academic and post-academic year services (total of 200 service days)
