9658082-92027 Job Description Step into a full-time, contract opportunity making a difference in the lives of elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This school-based position focuses on supporting communication and language development, ensuring that each child can thrive academically and socially throughout the entire school year. Candidates with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are especially encouraged to apply, as this credential is preferred for the role. The assignment involves working with a diverse and engaging elementary caseload, providing vital speech and language services and collaborating closely with educators and families.
Ideal Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active state licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Previous pediatric or school-based experience beneficial Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Organized, flexible, and committed to student success
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students Create and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and document progress Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to carry out effective interventions Deliver direct therapy services that foster student confidence and achievement Maintain thorough records in line with district and legal requirements Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and school activities This full-year role is ideal for those who are passionate about fostering growth and independence in young learners.
