Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent Valid state SLP license or eligibility Experience working with school-aged children Proficiency in managing screenings and diagnoses for a broad spectrum of needs Background in IEP development and compliance Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt to multiple campuses as an itinerant professional
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language screenings and comprehensive evaluations Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct and consultative therapy to students across several school environments Document student progress and maintain records in alignment with federal, state, and district guidelines Collaborate with families, educators, and other specialists to support each students success Offer training and guidance on AAC devices for students and staff
