Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in a vibrant elementary setting. Provide onsite services to PreK and Kindergarten learners, working with a manageable caseload of about 25-35 students. This assignment runs from August through early June, allowing you to make a meaningful impact across an academic year. Ideal candidates hold an SLP license (CCC strongly preferred) and have a passion for early childhood communication development. Out-of-state applicants ready to secure a California license are encouraged to apply, as flexibility in licensure is considered. This position is entirely onsite, offering a hands-on experience with students, families, and fellow educators.
Qualifications:
Current SLP license (from any state; California license or eligibility required) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly desirable Experience or interest working with PreK and Kindergarten populations Strong communication skills and collaborative approach Commitment to excellence in student-centered care
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for young learners Design and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and IEP teams to support student needs Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and legal requirements Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices
