Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role where your expertise as an SLP-CCC will make a meaningful difference in the lives of students from kindergarten through age 22. This in-person, contract opportunity is available for immediate start and brings you into an established school environment with ongoing support. You'll take over for a talented SLP going on maternity leave, working alongside a dedicated SLPA to provide continuity and care for a caseload of approximately 45 children. Your work week will span Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm, following a consistent daytime schedule. The assignment is ongoing with a flexible 30-day notice period if you need to end your commitment. This allows for both stability and professional flexibility, ideal for skilled professionals seeking an engaging school-based setting.
Requirements and Preferred Background:
Current Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC certification (SLP-CCC) Experience with K-12 populations; comfortable adapting to diverse age ranges and communication needs Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to work effectively with school staff, students, and families Previous school-based experience is an asset, though not strictly required
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders Collaborate with educators, families, and specialists to promote student progress Maintain precise documentation for progress monitoring and compliance Provide direct therapy and support for a variety of speech, language, and communication needs Supervise and partner with the SLPA to ensure comprehensive service delivery If you are ready to embark on a new chapter, positively impacting students while working within a supportive educational team, apply today to secure your spot.
