Youll play a pivotal role supporting students with mild to severe communication needs, including those who benefit from Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. Key Qualifications:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and active state licensure (or eligibility) Previous experience working in school settings preferred Skilled in working with students presenting a wide range of needs, from mild to severe Demonstrated knowledge of AAC devices and technology integration Proven ability to manage multiple school sites efficiently as an itinerant SLP Strong grasp of IEP regulations and compliance procedures Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students IEP goals Provide direct therapy services and collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsincluding teachers, specialists, and families Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and ensure compliance with special education laws and practices Train and support staff in implementing AAC devices and communication strategies Travel efficiently between assigned sites, organizing a flexible approach to meet varied student needs This contract role offers you the chance to cultivate meaningful relationships with students, families, and school staff, while gaining hands-on experience with innovative communication tools.
