Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in diverse educational settings near Pasadena and Palmdale, CA. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and experienced SLPs are encouraged to apply Experience working in school-based settings with pediatric populations preferred Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs Deliver direct therapy services to assigned caseloads in high school, NPS, and private school settings Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in compliance with district and regulatory guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise for intervention planning and goal setting Adapt therapy approaches for on-site and teletherapy service delivery as needed This contract role offers competitive hourly compensation between $45 and $55, making it an excellent choice for motivated SLPs seeking professional growth while enriching students' educational experiences.
