Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Eligibility for state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or willingness to obtain) Previous clinical experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to manage caseloads and work flexibly in a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students individually and in small groups Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support students communication and academic needs Offer guidance and education to families regarding communication strategies and intervention progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all service activities and student progress Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as required Youll have the chance to make a difference every day, while also enjoying the flexibility and professional variety that contract roles provide.
