Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active and valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) credential Current state licensure as required for speech-language pathologists Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to address communication challenges Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate strategies across settings Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and student progress Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations Stay current with best practices and continuing education for speech-language pathologists
