Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide contract services supporting students in a school setting. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for professionals seeking to make a positive difference for children and families. The assignment is conveniently scheduled for one day per week, 8 hours each day, and will run through June 2027. This is an excellent way to focus on pediatric populations in an educational environment while maintaining your work-life balance.
Key Qualifications:
Current or in-progress California CTC permit (documentation required; candidate is responsible for associated fees) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in school-based SLP services and/or pediatric care strongly preferred Comfort with teletherapy platforms as part of service delivery Strong organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child Provide both in-person and teletherapy speech services as appropriate Consult, collaborate, and communicate with educators, staff, and families to maximize student success Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements Fulfill contract for approximately 180 school days, plus 20 additional days before and after the academic year
