Job Description
Step into an exciting opportunity providing speech-language services to a bright, eager group of PreK and Kindergarten students for the 2026-2027 school year! This contract role offers a rewarding chance to bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a supportive school environment. Youll deliver essential supports and interventions onsite, empowering young learners to communicate confidently.
Qualifications:
Current SLP license (out-of-state candidates may be considered if willing to obtain a California license) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience working with elementary or early childhood populations in school settings is highly valued Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with educators and families Flexibility, strong organizational abilities, and commitment to student-centered care Passion for supporting diverse learners and facilitating developmental milestones
Key Responsibilities:
Serve approximately 25-35 PreK and Kindergarten students with a range of communication needs Conduct screenings, evaluations, and reassessments as required by students IEPs Create and deliver individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to developmental levels Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families Maintain thorough records and documentation according to school and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
